A Fantastic Weekend at the Bradford Dragonboat Festival!

Our Stell team recently had the pleasure of participating in the Bradford Dragonboat Festival, and what an incredible time we had! The festival, one of the biggest community events of the year, brought together around 40,000 attendees, all eager to celebrate, compete, and contribute to a great cause.

A Remarkable Achievement

Our team put in weeks of hard work and training, and it all paid off when we secured 4th place out of 17 teams in the Dragonboat race! 🏅🚣‍♂️ The competition was fierce, and every team gave it their all, making our achievement even more rewarding. We are incredibly proud of our team’s effort, determination, and sportsmanship.

Community Spirit

The Bradford Dragonboat Festival is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of community spirit. Families, friends, and participants enjoyed a range of activities, from face painting for the kids to exciting performances on the main stage. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together for a day of fun.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

One of the highlights of the event was the charity aspect. This year, we proudly raised around £3,500 for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. This amazing organisation provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting conditions, and we are honoured to contribute to their vital work. The generosity of our supporters and the enthusiasm of our team members made this possible, and we are deeply grateful for everyone’s contributions.
