Our in-house engineering, creative and innovation skills combined with our huge experience give us an unrivalled capability – and enthusiasm – for tackling new and highly-specialised projects for cardboard tube and cardboard cores. We’ll create bespoke cardboard tubes and make them to order with minimum fuss, even if other cardboard tube manufacturers say it can’t be done.

We’ve been involved in manufacturing for a wide range of fascinating projects using products that have included:

End closure options

A huge range of options are available including stapled or unstapled plastic end caps, end-turned with an inset disc, a seamed metal base and more.

Pull-apart and collapsible tubes

Our in-house “100% non-failure guaranteed” process means we can create a tube that is easily ‘pulled-apart” to allow the material wound onto it (usually tissue) to be dispensed from the centre of the roll.

Release covers

Either silicon based or polymer based, we can advise on what is most appropriate for your application.

Notched and snecked tubes

These allow the tube to be driven on a shaft. We can make bespoke tooling to customise the exact profile the customer requires.

Bull-nosed and end-turned

These are ideal for the textile markets where a non-snag unwind is critical. They can also be used as part of a system of end closure for container tubes.

Wax-dipped tubes

We use a high temperature immersion process to impregnate the cardboard with paraffin wax for increased durability and water resistance.

Tubes with flaps

Normally these are convolute tubes. They allow fabrics and pressure sensitive materials to be wound into the tube or core without a 'seam' mark running through the roll.

Embossed tubes

This provides a dimpled finish to stop threads, yarns and fibres from sliding off the tube.

Double-sided tape tubes

Double sided tape can be applied either spirally or straight, ideal for providing adhesion to a material at the beginning of a re-wind process.

Slit tubes

A slit down the length of these tubes allows a 'spring fit' onto a bar or spindle which is ideal for various packaging applications.
